One thing that I
kind of regret am kind of sad about in life about my card making career is that I haven’t taken enough pictures along the way. Sure, I’ve taken plenty of pictures in the past 9 months, but I haven’t taken nearly enough since I started making cards 15 years ago. Aubrey figured out how to fix that. One day I woke up to pictures of Aubrey and Nick’s wedding card in my inbox – Aubrey thought that I should have the opportunity to blog about it, and to be honest, I’m really glad she did. I forgot how much fun I had making this card! I tried extra hard to make it just weddingy enough (as you can read in the first line of what I wrote), but not too over the top. Why all the street signs you ask? Approximately three days after their wedding, Aubrey and Nick drove across the country to Los Angeles to start their new lives together (although oddly enough I think I’ve seen her more since she moved to Los Angeles than I did when she was at school in Providence. Also oddly enough Los Angeles and Providence are both 5.5 hours from Philadelphia depending on your mode of transportation.) Usually I try to blur out the words on the card so that the person’s thoughts are private, but I enjoyed tearing up so much reading this I figured I’d share it with you as well.
If you have any cards that I’ve made over the years – first of all, I’m flattered and thrilled that you kept them. Second of all, if they HAPPEN to show up in my inbox (chrystinanoeldesignsATgmailDOTcom), that’d be cool too. xoxo
Have you made any cards that you’ve been proud of recently?
