Well, I did it, I signed up for the Philadelphia 2012 Bloggy Boot Camp. Do I have any idea what I’m getting into? No. Am I excited? Yes. So excited.
So what does this mean?
I still need to set my goals for the event. Sure, I’ve got a vague idea – learn some cool things, meet some cool people, make some new friends, find some bloggers in the Philadelphia area. Oh, and survive. 700 women and I won’t know any of them. Maybe at my first blog conference I shouldn’t actually have any goals besides learn how to talk to mass crowds of people. It’s not that I’m shy, I just overthink things.
One thing that I know I want to do is have business cards ready to go. After every conference that people go to, they all seem to come back and do a “Top 10 Best Business Cards” post. This seems to be the thing to do.
Here’s my first attempt. What do you think? All compliments, criticisms, and adjustments are welcome.
(Note: The black border isn’t part of the card.)

Oh how fun that you’re going there! I’ve never been to a blogging event, but it sounds like a lot of fun! I’d be intimidated by the thought of being surrounded by 700 people too, though! But you’lI be okay! Just be yourself and I’m sure most other people there will be feeling a bit intimidated too, so that’s another thing you’ll have in common besides blogging. :) And I think your business card looks great!
Thanks!! And thanks for the inspirational words :) All in all, I’m really excited.
Love the business card! It suits you =D
