For the conference this weekend (aren’t you guys getting excited to read the post about this conference eventually, I keep talking it up!), they said that you could either bring your computer or good old pen and paper to take notes on. Well, first of all, I wouldn’t have even thought to bring something to take notes on – so this was a good tidbit. Second of all, I love old-fashioned pen and paper.
I thought back to my days in high school when we used to decorate our planners every year – it was probably the highlight of getting a planner. Yet again, all of my pictures of planners are in Philadelphia, and I’m in New York City. However, we used to cut out pictures of our friends and cool magazine quotes and make a mini collage so that even though you had to write all of your homework down in it, there was still something cool to look at.
I had a bunch of magazine cut-outs from when I took the Blogging Your Way class online with Holly from Decor8 and Leslie from A Creative Mint when I was supposed to create a mood board of what I thought inspired me for ChrystinaNoel. Unfortunately, I never found enough time or cutouts to make this happen. However, it was PERFECT for decorating my blogging notebook. Check it out:

This is adorable! I am in serious need of a blogging notebook because keeping everything in my head is starting to get crazy!
Thanks so much for your super sweet comment on my wedding DIY post! SO nice to meet you, girl!
xoxo
I absolutely know what you mean. After living in a world of a million post-its I decided this was the way to go :)
Aw.. how FUN! I noticed these yearbook makeover when my daughter re-did hers when she was in high school every year. They are literally a work of art! Love yours, Chrystina!
