Brunch is my absolute favorite meal and is one of the easiest types of party to host. Here are 5 of my favorite brunch ideas:
Set up a “mix-ins” area where people can choose if they want fruit, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, oatmeal, etc in their pancakes. Cook these on a griddle and you can make at least 6 at a time.
2. French Toast
Also cook these on a griddle and you can make 6-8 at a time. (when you line them up in any sort of normal way, aka not the picture you see above)
3. Yogurt Buffet
Think about all the toppings you can put on yogurt!! Granola, honey, berries, fruit of any sort, chocolate & caramel syrup, crumbs of graham crackers or oreos, cereal, etc.
4. Strawberry Shortcake
Everybody loves dessert for breakfast. Best recipe I’ve found yet – and I “got from my friend Bill’s mom” – is on the back of the Bisquick box. Easy, makes a bunch at a time. The only thing I recommend is making the biscuits smaller than they say you should – those are huge. Oh! And you can have you guests help you cut the strawberries as you arrive 🙂
5. Cereal Buffet
Who says “making breakfast” has to be hard? Buy 2 kinds of milk. Buy 4 kinds of cereal, or the mini boxes!! Buy the cereals that you only get when you’re treating yourself. Everybody will appreciate it – and you’ll get the leftovers 🙂
Oh, and don’t forget a drink station – – or maybe some mimosas 🙂
