It’s always a challenge for me to make greeting cards for men because most of mine come out so whimsical-looking. So sitting down to make greeting cards for a man takes a special je ne sais quoi. I was really proud of my success on my bosses birthday card last year – which was an interactive madlibs card. The first card was a card for my realtor. The second card was a thank you for a Director at work. (I got nominated for an award because I started a blog at work – which was pretty cool. Mainly because, why wouldn’t I want to start a blog at work?)
favorite part: the 3-dimensional front
trickiest part: figuring out how to make happy look as bold as birthday
favorite part: the layers on the top half
trickiest part: holding the layers still while I glued them

Great job! I love all the layers! I can imagine it was tricky gluing them down! And congrats on being nominated for an award, awesome that you started a blog at work!
Thanks!! Now I just have to keep it going…
