I ended up deciding after a few week of looking at my artwork in the hallway that I made that I don’t have a skill for writing in cursive in water colors. I also ended up finding out that there’s a class that you can take an online script school by Kal Barteski to learn how to do it right. So maybe one day I’ll get on that. SO, I decided to switch it up a little bit and switch to something I have some experience with – Sharpie markers. This is the joy about blogging – real time updates – and not pretending to know the answers the first time, just doing what works.
I think I like this one a little bit better. But I’m still not quite satisfied, so who knows, maybe there will be another attempt soon.
What’s hanging on your walls?

What about a papercut???
…what about paper cuts?
Have you tried stencils?
We have art on the walls. Some photos, some paintings and some mirrors. Actually, lots of mirrors.
Mirrors sound like fun, I’m going to have to think a little bit more about how to use them in my new place. Also, stencils sound like they could be fun too – that one I’ll need to do a little bit more research on to make sure that I do it right. Thanks for the suggestions!!
I bookmarked that ScriptSchool link for when I have saved up for the fee :D Thanks for sharing! I want that wall hanging in chalkboard form. :)
That’s an awesome idea – I love chalkboard paint. I heard it comes in colors now. This sounds dangerous for artsy people :)
