I bought two new mugs that I wanted to share with you all. I really love how my collection is coming together. The only problem is that I feel like when you have a collection you’re supposed to display it somewhere. So my next kitchen goal is to figure out how to display the mugs that I do have without overcrowding my kitchen. (It’s only approximately 7′ x 12′ of clear space, with a huge kitchen table in the middle.)
Here’s a shot of my kitchen:
Alright, who has ideas?

I full heartily approve of your latest purchases :o) And you have a very cosy kitchen, I love the exposed brickwork x How deep is the shelf on that wall? Wide enough for mugs? x
Unfortunately, no :/ it’s probably a centimeter – because the angle is so weird and the room is so small it’s hard to tell from the picture though.
if you replace your wood cabinet doors with glass ones (like this: http://img4.southernliving.com/i/2009/05/elegant-kitchen/glass-cabinets-l.jpg?400:400), you could display them and not use any additional counter space! :)
You make a very good point. I like where this is heading. Now I just need to make some room in the cabinets lol :)
If you have wall space you can get those cute little wood coat/hook boards from ac moores. Paint them up and hang your mugs from them!
Another good suggestion – and it sounds like a fun way to add a splash of color!
