Since we’ve hit the second half of the year I decided now would be a good time for a “goals” update. I honestly can’t decide if I’m further behind or further ahead than I thought I was going to be. Goals that are completed are green.
Go to Austin, Chicago, Nashville, San Francisco, Charlotte, & India.
Charlotte happened in May/June. Austin is booked for August. India will be in October. I’ve also added Germany to the mix, that’s booked for September. As for Chicago, Nashville, and San Francisco – that’s going to be a long shot.
Go to dinner at (1, 2) 3 new (to me) Steven Starr Restaurants in Philadelphia.
I’ve been to Il Portico and Barclay Prime. I think next will be Stella.
Redesign my living room (which might/probably involves buying a couch).
I need a new rug still. And maybe some wall art.
Watch 5 movie classics.
Fail. Haven’t watched any. Taking suggestions now.
Run a 5K.
I ran the Color Me Rad run in June in 27 minutes. Not too shabby.
Before it was too cold to paint my patio door, now it’s too hot.
Create a design inspiration book.
Go to a drive in movie.
Step one, find a car.
Write a book.
Maybe I’ll start this next week.
I volunteered at Philabundance once.
Go to at least one Broadway show in NYC.
Chicago was way better on stage than the movie.
Find a church that works for me.
I officially have a church, super exciting.
See the Rocky Horror Picture Show live.
I genuinely can’t find one of these. Really sad.
Make a quilt.
I realized I threw out all of my old jeans I was going to use to make the quilt, now I’m not sure what to do about this one.
Sell something on Etsy.
I’ve now officially thought about this, but still need to do something about it.
Write 1 interactive blog post a month.
I am two months behind. I still need May and June, and now July.
Plan a BIG 25th Birthday Party.
I have plenty of ideas, I just need to pick one.
Plan my blog posts ahead of time.
I’ve been planning, but sticking to the plan is getting harder.
Take more pictures.
Yes. I actually usually have my camera with me these days.
Make decisions that make me happy.
This is a work in progress.
How are you doing on your 2013 goals?
