I admit it, I’ve been out of the loop of things lately. I’m not apologizing, I figured I’d just give you all an update on what’s been going on. I moved into a new house last week. I still don’t have internet (!!!). I’ve cracked by phone screen and forgot it at home for two days this week (lack of Instagram photos). And I’ve been working until 8:00pm every night on the client site for work. Ridiculous, huh?
WELL, you will all be excited to know that I’ve planned a vacation for this week. I’m hoping to use this time to sort things out, catch up on all of my blog reading, and to write some awesome posts.
Upcoming Posts:
I painted my new night stand a really fun color.
I finally figured out an awesome way to display my aprons!
Organizing your arts and crafts space. Or trying to at least.
How to plan a party if you don’t have the space to do it.
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a little bit more about my myself via music. With the amount of time that I spend singing, it’s only natural that music says a lot about me.
Chrystina’s Top 5 Pandora Stations
#5) Show Me How You Burlesque
That’s right – from the Cher and Christina Aguilera movie. It’s all upbeat music with a burlesque, jazz, & hip hop.
#4) Chantal Kreviazuk
If you don’t know the name, it’s still possible you know her songs from a few chick flick movies. She does a lot of soundtrack songs. For example “Weight of the World” & “Feels Like Home” from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It’s the music I like to wake up to in the morning. I apologize now that I couldn’t find videos from the movie, just lyric videos.
#3) High School Musical
I absolutely loved High School Musical 1, 2, and 3. I admit it. I tried to learn the dance numbers. I cleared my schedule the nights the movies premiered. This station gives me HSM, some Disney Stars’ songs, and some country music. (Strange, huh?)
#2) Pentatonix
The winners of the Sing Off this past season who have won my heart. Their album came out 06-24-2012 and it is incredible. It’s unfortunately only 30 minutes, but I just keep hitting repeat. It’s all sorts of feel good a cappella music.
#1) Jamie Cullum + Sara Bareillis + Frank Sinatra
When in doubt, you can never, EVER go wrong with this station. I mean, really, look at that lineup. I’d be willing to send this station over to anybody who wants it.
Runners Up: Buddy Holly, The Holiday, Love Song, Dana Glover, Alan Menken, & The Manhattan Transfer
