After reading Elise Blaha’s post tips for fun “everyday” photos last night, I decided it would be a cool idea to have a day in the life of Chrystina. (I have absolutely LOVED reading Elise’s blog lately, she’s so inspirational and crafty. An awesome combination.) I tried to take pictures of random things throughout the course of my day – but really it all culminated in the Baton Rouge Wednesdays Food Truck Wround Up where I took about 20 pictures. (Best dinner I’ve had here yet, I think.)
I tried to use some of the tips that I read in her post last night such as: getting on the right level, focusing on the details, shooting from above, cutting from the frame, not giving up on reflection shots, using natural light, and getting the big picture. Alright, so it looks like the only one that I missed for the day was “using the timer”. I only had my iPhone though, so that’s how it happened. And yes, I could have waited until I got home and got my nice camera to do this, but why push motivation and excitement to a later date? Use it while you got it.
Take a look at my day:
