How to Drink Around the World at Epcot in Disney World

My sister, Julie, turned 21 in January – which you may have picked up on by now.  She spent her 21st birthday in Disney World drinking around the world.  I’m super jealous of this fact.  I’ve been saying I’m going to do that forever, and she beat me to the punch – and I have four extra years on her.  I did however get her to tell me about her experience so that when I go to do it I have a better idea of where to start.

What time did you start?

12:00 noon

What time did you finish?

8:00pm

What did you drink at each country?

Canada: Torontopolitan
United Kingdom: Magner’s Pear Cider
France: Grey Goose Lemon Slushie
Morocco: Mimosa
Japan: Green Tea Sake Slush
America: Red Stag
Italy: Sangria
Germany: Berentzen Apfel
China: Plum Wine
Norway: Linue Aquavit
Mexico: Wild Berry Margarita

What were your favorite drinks?

The plum wine, grey goose lemon slushie, and green tea sake slush.

What was your execution strategy?

I would have 4 drinks and then take an hour break to go on some rides or something.  Pleasant rides, like the Spaceship Earth ride.  I also ate food whenever I got hungry.

They also bought the World Showcase Passport Kit in the park so that they could mark off each country that they went to.

What was the hardest part?

The hardest part was having a margarita last – and maybe staying hydrated.  The problem was that I got full, not even drunk really, I was just too full to drink or eat more.

What would you do different next time?

I would start in Mexico and maybe do more shots instead of big drinks.
